1984 Association (D84) is a non-profit organization based in Türkiye that strives to foster a pluralistic democratic society by advancing freedoms, rights, and rational public discussion. Our work spans diverse fields, including women and youth empowerment, media, climate policy, civic engagement, and interdisciplinary research in areas such as foreign policy, politics, and democratization.

Through meaningful partnerships, we design impactful projects that amplify diverse voices, strengthen democratic values, and address critical societal challenges. By collaborating with civil society organizations, policymakers, academic institutions, and experts, we aim to create a more participatory and open public sphere.
